Hollywood can try and make hero’s of these people, but currently (March 2008) one of the Bielski brothers is out on bail for kidnapping an old lady and leaving her in Poland and taking her money (actually they came to a plea-bargain.
If you meet them )most of the living family of Bell’s (Bielski’s) they are basically a bunch of crooks.
Please don’t make them into something that they are not.
